"While the first book was certainly more on the romance side (which I loved!), this second book brought out the fight in the characters and really played on the forces of good and evil and the importance of - and struggles with - family. As with the first book, the images are vivid, the characters well developed, and the story line fun to follow - although intense at times! It is thought provoking, as the characters must make some life-altering decisions with love and family at stake.
